Dear PNMs,

 

Coming to Western Michigan as a freshman was an exciting, but overwhelming experience.  Surrounded by so many new people I began to try to find a place that could give me a sense of belonging in an unfamiliar place.  Joining Alpha Phi has been a pivotal moment in my college career.  It enhanced every aspect of my time here at WMU.  This one of a kind sisterhood has introduced me to my life long friends and a support system to get me through every challenge life has thrown my way.  Not only that, but these women have helped me grow into a leader I never knew I could become.  I am forever grateful for the endless opportunities Alpha Phi has provided me with to grow into the best version of myself.  I will hold the memories during my time here with me forever.  I encourage everyone to go Greek and find their home away from home like I did!

At Alpha Phi, I felt instantly at home with everyone's warm smiles and genuine personalities.  Being surrounded by girls who were passionate about their studies while being able to pursue their personal interests showed me the endless paths here at Alpha Phi.  The friendships that I have made through living in the house will be forever.

Joining executive board has helped grow, not only as a leader, but as person.  Every day I am challenged in the best way possible to step out of my comfort zone to grow into the best version of myself.  These women inspire me to be a better person because of the support that they provide to one another's life challenges.  Our executive board is full of strongly motivated women ready to make a difference in our chapter, and I can't wait to see everything that we can accomplish during our term.
